New journey

I've gotten bored with my photography.  Orchids are pretty but they haven't inspired me for a while now.  So I've decided to try a new project.  Every day I will take a photo of something in my apartment.  Those of you who have been to my place (or my cube, for that matter), may have noticed that I am a bit of a hoarder.  What can I say, I like stuff.  Losing four grandparents and gaining many of their treasures makes for a cramped dwelling.  But everything I have is beautiful and I would love to share it with more people.  And since inviting people over to experience my things for themselves necessitates cleaning, this is the next best thing, I figure.  So welcome.

What's with the name, you ask?  Cailleach means "owl" in the Gaelic.  My mom has done a lot of genealogy and discovered that quite a bit of us is from Scotland, so I started there for a unique name for my yet-to-be-established photography adventure.  I love birds, and owls especially intrigue me.  I could learn from their patience.

So I hope you will enjoy this new journey with me.  As I don't connect online from home, the first photo (which I will take tonight) will be uploaded on Monday.
